Cresc and decresc throughout. Some quick shifts in dynamic levels. Some push and pull necessary (led by clarinet). Many fermatas. Recitative section is ad lib. Tempo markings include Andante con moto (92), Lento, Agitato, Maestoso, and Molto adagio. Subdivision necessary.

Special Considerations:

Need to check where it should end (may end before Recitative). Some use of alternate fingerings necessary. Requires very mature musicality and stamina (most difficult second movement of all von Weber works).
